Antique Art Nouveau covered storage jar by Myott Son & Co England Marlboro

An antique storage jar or large lidded sugar pot by Myott. Son & Co England Marlboro. Marked "Imperial Semi-porcelain" above a royal crown. This Flo Blue pattern dates back to the 1880s (Victorian Era) although it was the early beginnings of the later Art Nouveau styling visible. There are small details highlighted in a gilt on the body, edges and lid. Myott, Son & Co. was an English ceramics manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent, renowned for producing a wide range of earthenware and semi-porcelain items. Condition: In surprisingly nice condition without damage to note. Size: almost 5.5 inches tall on the handle knob, 7 1/4 inches wide between the handles.
