Antique Chinese leather covered wooden hinged pillow box with a padded top originally used as a pillow and a place to store ones valuables while sleeping. The box features fine hand stitched dark brown leather with a curved padded top, hand painted scenes of traditional life with a lacquered finish, brass side handles, and a decorative clasp mechanism. • Measures 13.5" wide x 4" deep x 4.5" high  • Purchased in Singapore • Red,  gold,  black Note: The box is antique and should be expected to have marks and imperfections.
