This is "Birds in Town & Village" by W. H. Hudson, published in New York by E.P. Dutton, 1920. First US edition, by one of the founding members of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). 8.5'' x 6''. Original green cloth boards with gilt pictorial cover and spine. Uncut edges. Illustrated by Detmold with 8 color plates. This book is in very good condition. The covers and spine are a bit worn with the odd smudge and bumped corners. There is a name on the half title page.
