It has 357 pages and no dustjacket. This highly decorative book has faded brown cloth covered boards with black lettering on the cover and spine. There is a black outlined illustration of two children on the cover along with red scrollwork. The title page is highly decorated by the illustrator. There are several pages of advertising of the publishers other books at the end. This book is in very good condition. The cover and spine are worn with some loss and bumped corners. There is a name, date on the inside front cover. There are no marks on the inner pages except for some yellowing and the odd smudge. The binding is good and tight.
