This is "A Collins Tourist Edition" published by Collins' Clear Type Press c. 1940s. It is undated but has an inscription dated 1951. It is a lovely dark red cloth covered hardcover book with a bright gilt title and decoration on the spine. There are many photographs showing the locations mentioned in the story. The pages have top edge red coloring. The Dust jacket is present.
It is in very good condition. There is some wear to the edges of the cover and spine and bumped corners. The pages are very clean with only a note on the back of one photo and an inscription on a free end paper both in pencil. A few pages have bent corners. The binding is solid though visible at the hinge of the front end pages. Please see all photos.
The dust jacket is in good condition with the edges a bit tattered and chipped.
