Antique Book "The British School of Etching" by Martin Hardie 1921 Signed 1st Ed

This is an antique book, "The British School of Etching: Being a Lecture Delivered To The Print Collector's Club" by Martin Hardie R.E. who was a curator at the Victoria and Albert Museum. It was published by The Print Collectors' Club in 1921. It is a brown hardcover book with black lettering and an orange cartouche on the cover. It has 33 pages and contains many Illustrations. Tucked in the back is a promotional leaflet for the The Print Collector's Club from the same time period. The thing that makes this very special is that it is inscribed by the author, Martin Hardie, to the son of one of the subjects of the book, A. H. Palmer. Then it is further inscribed by A. H. Palmer to a third person. Martin Hardie, and A. H. Palmer were good friends who had a falling out shortly after this book was inscribed. There is so much more to this story.
