Antique Book "The Inside Of The Cup" By Winston Churchill, Macmillan Co. 1915

This is "The Inside of the Cup" by American novelist, Winston Churchill, not to be confused with the British Statesman. This bestselling novel was published by the Macmillan Company, printed in 1915. It is the later printing of the first edition. It is a red hardcover book with gold lettering and border on the cover and spine; 513 pages followed by several pages of advertisement. "The best-selling book in the United States for 1913, it sparked a nationwide debate about the role of Christianity in modern life." It was made into a movie in 1921. The book is in very good condition. There is wear and discoloration to the cover and spine with crushed spine ends and bumped corners. There is a tidy name inside the front cover. The pages are very clean with a little yellowing and very faint water staining to the top corners of some of the pages (just visible in photos 6 and 8).
