Antique Brass Shield Dress Clip with Green Rhinestones, Art Deco Clip

This exceptionally well-preserved clip is made from gold tone metal (brass) in a large triangle shape resembling a shield studded with emerald green rhinestones (securely set with claws ) that sit inside a floral design. The style suggests it is Czech made, but it's not marked so I can't be sure. There are small sharp points ( 3 sets of double teeth) inside the clip to hold the pin in place. The hinged clip with the teeth on the back snaps up and down to hold the clip in place. This is a versatile piece of jewelry, which can be worn on necklines, pockets, collars, sleeves, purses or waistbands. Clip could also be converted to a pendant for a necklace by running a chain through the clip or convert to a brooch. Age: 1930s (estimated) Materials: goldtone metal (probably brass), rhinestones. Fastener: Spring clip with 3 prongs. Clip measures 2 inches tall x 1-3/8 inches wide. Unsigned and manufactured during the 1930s. Condition: Excellent condition with no chipped, missing, or damaged stones. The back clip mechanism has gorgeous engraving and the hinge still has a good strong spring.
