A beautiful piece of Victorian-era pressed glass, this small pedestal stand is widely identified in the Cottage pattern, which was produced by Adams and Company around 1887 (also known as Dinner Bell or Fine Cut Band).
It features an ornate geometric pattern with a central sunburst and a scalloped/sawtooth edge. At 6 inches in diameter, it is often referred to as a Child's Cake Stand, a Cheese Stand, or a Dessert Tazza.
