Antique Etched Plate Ring

This antique ring is made of a (darkened and distressed) gold/brass tone ring and has a fixed-size band. The ring is fairly dainty and has a stamped metal feel. The front of the ring features a rectangular plate held in place by the band attaching on either side. The front of the plate has 3 initial etched into the front (looks like SVP? VVP?).
