Antique Flat Sided Brass Floral Claw Bell A 19th century original bronze Indian claw bell or elephant bell mounted on a carved padauk stand. As their name suggests - these were reputedly used on elephants either as a warning to pedestrians in crowded streets or to assist finding domesticated elephants when out grazing.
