Antique French Ivory vanity dressing set, made in England 1890

Estimated 1890s. Made of “French Ivory” or Xylonite, an early form of plastic. Similar to Bakelite or celluloid. 3 piece dressing set in a blue velvet lined case, including a shoe horn, button hook, and glove stretcher. All three have a “made in England” stamp, and the button hook has “Sheffield” on its metal end. In good antique condition. The shoe horn has a crack and various marks. The case has one warped hinge and no longer fully clicks shut.
