Antique Gold Filled Victorian Oval Question mark locket by SOB & Co., vintage

...photo locket monogrammed GR, Jewelry gift for her A larger oval locket, the material a gold filled or gold plated metal decorated with various techniques or engine engraved lines, a flower border and inset stone in a large ? Question mark. The originally plain back was hand engraved with initials G R. The inside has one of the little photo holder edges still in place, which is marked SOB & Co. It fits on either side of the locket. Perfect for a Valentine´s Day gift to a loved one, or for a young lady to carry the image of her lover. Condition: It opens and closes fairly smoothly (provided you have nails, the little gap to pry it open is quite shallow) and the shallow inside is perfect for small passport sized pictures. It clicks softly when closing. In good vintage condition with rubbing to the gold finish, mostly to the back edges and the hanging ring. All little stones in the Question Mark are there. The area where they are set are clearly visible on the inside of the locket, and they are a little sharp. The piece comes with a gold toned chain in a slightly more yellow colour than the locket.
