Antique Grindley “Shelmerdene” Platter & Creamer/Gravy Boat, England

Gorgeous rare W. H. Grindley ‘The Shelmerdene’ floral pattern in multiple colors with lovely embossed rim. Features blue, yellow and pink flowers over a creamy white background and a beautiful aged patina. Backstamp dates this plate to circa 1930’s - 40’s. Platter is 11” long by 9”wide Slight utensil wear in middle and minor discolouration on rim (still smooth, no roughness), and underside of platter. The creamer/gravy boat is 5” long to end of handle, 3” wide and 3.5” tall. It has a lovely embossed handle and spout. There is a small blue underglaze mark on the embossed spout.
