Japanese Geisha Girl Ware Serving bowl with 6 smaller serving bowls Marked Made in Japan I can imagine using this set to serve fruit salad or salad. While an antique set, it is durable and in the day, made for everyday use. Condition This set was kept for good. I note some irregularities in the set which I believe are the result of the manufacture but just in case, please review my pictures. This is a Japanese Geisha Girl Ware bowl. In this case, I understand the set comes from the 1950’s. These bowls are characterized by hand-painted scenes of Geishas in traditional Japanese settings. Made of fine, translucent porcelain with a scalloped border. This Japanese ware depicts Geishas, traditional Japanese gardens, and floral scenery.
