Antique Johnson Brothers Pareek Tea Cup and Saucer Blue Gold Fine China 1920's

This is an attractive, vintage tea cup and saucer set from the renowned English pottery, Johnson Brothers, featuring their collectible Pareek line. Manufacturer: Johnson Brothers, Made in England (Staffordshire Potteries). Pattern: Part of the "Pareek" series, the design features a cream/ivory body accented with striking gold leaf decals sweeping across the cup and saucer. Colorway: The set is beautifully framed by a distinctive deep navy blue band on the saucer and a corresponding gold trim on the cup rim and handle. A delicate sprig of blue and pink flowers adds a pop of color inside the cup. Circa: Based on the "Pareek" trade name and the bold, stylized motifs, this set is dated to the Art Deco era, circa 1920s.
