Beautiful Edwardian Handbag. Made in Germany. Interior framing marked “ges.gesch”, which loosely translates to registered in German. Rectangle shape with handle on a slender hinge. Wonderful to carry as clutch or by handle. Bonded leather. (Bavarian manufacturers began experimenting with bonded leather as far back as the 1800’s.)In good antique condition. Lining fairing well considering it is at least 100 years old. Some spots where it has come away from frame noted in photo. Condition; Good Antique condition.
