Antique Nippon Hand Painted Butterflies + Rose Floral Pink Porcelain Handle Tray

Beautiful one of a kind hand decorated tray manufactured by Nippon. This porcelain piece delicately displays butterflies in colours of pink, yellow, orange, red, blue, black and gold. It also features three lovely roses and greenery with gold detailing, with a handle on either side. It is marked “Nippon Hand Painted” with the cherry blossom symbol; this symbols manufacturing years are unknown, however, we believe it was produced between the late 1800’s to sometime before the 1920’s. It would be lovely on a vanity used as a catchall, perfume tray, or jewelry dish! Excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, staining, etc. Measurements: 8 3/8” inches length x 4 1/2” inches width Vintage china/items often have small manufacturing flaws and/or signs of use; these do not affect the integrity of the item but is something to be mindful of when purchasing.
