This antique watch by Omega is made of a gold-filled metal and, according to its serial number (SN 3575740), was made in 1919-1920. The watch is a manual wind in good working order and has a unique appearance. It looks like it falls somewhere between 'pocket watch' and 'wristwatch' and is most likely a pocket watch that was converted to be a wristwatch. The hour markers are roman numerals (with small red numbers) and there is a small subdial at the bottom. The case was made by cashier and has its case number stamped on the interior (#1670009).
The watch has 17 jewels and is adjusted for 2 positions. There are some other marks inside the case (0247? E5033A?) but I don't know their meaning. The watch has a gold tone metal strap that stretches. I think it's on backwards, but I've left it for now.
This cute little antique is in good condition and is fully functional. It's been sitting in a drawer for a long time and is ready to go out and see more of the world. Though the band is most likely women's, the watch work well as a unisex piece.
