Antique Opal Brooch

The brooch features an oval opal at its center, surrounded by faux pearls and rhinestones set within a filigree design. The brooch has a vintage aesthetic, possibly dating back to the Victorian era or the early 20th century. Brooches of this style were popular during those periods and often incorporated natural elements like flowers and leaves in their designs. Has gold plating wear from age and is missing one tiny rhinestone. The opal is very pretty and shows quite a bit of colour. I have no way to know if it is natural or not. Approx. 3.5cm across
