Antique Pewter Candle Holder / Courting Lamp

This is an old hand hammered pewter candle holder. It is solid (198 grams) and it has has a very sturdy finger support that easily carries the weight of any candle. These were used in parlours when you had visitors or were being courted (you had to send your suitor away when the candle burned out). Size is 6 inches across and 2.5 inches high.
