Portrait taken in Toronto at Simpson Bros. 357 Yonge St. It is inscribed on the back: To Miss Johnson with much love from Miss V. Mac Gregor Crossman, Dec 25, 1912. The woman is wearing a wrist watch, holding leather (driving?) gloves, and small wire rim glasses. She is wearing a dark toned wool suit with a large decorative bonnet (I believe that is old fashioned for the time) and has a fine cord or chain hanging from her bonnet down in front and looped over a button on her jacket.
