Stunning antique RS Prussia porcelain creamer! Finely detailed hand painted medieval castle scene with flower spout and ornate handle rests upon 10 pointed feet. Truly art on a creamer! Creamer is mold 576
Backstamp: "RS Prussia", circa 1890's to 1910's
Reinhold Schlegelmilch founded Reinhold Schlegelmilch Porcelain Factory in Suhl, Germany, producing ornate and floral porcelain objects. Sometime in the 1890's, US exports began with the R.S. Prussia stamp. Products made after the beginning of WWI, were stamped RS Germany (Tillowitz), as Reinhold had shutdown the Suhl factory and only the Tillowitz factory was operational.
