Antique Rhinestone Hat Pin Brooch

This antique brooch was converted from a hat pin to a brooch at some point in the last 100 years. The piece is made of a bronze/gold tone metal and has a smooth, rounded back. There is a hole in the center where the old closure would have attached, and you can see that the old-style simple c pin closure currently in place is not original. The brooch features a constellation of white rhinestones all over its round face. Most of the stones are in good condition but there are a few that are yellowing, a few that may be dead, and two that are missing entirely. I don't have the expertise or confidence to repair something of this age, so this piece is being sold AS IS. There is also a general patina throughout the entire piece.
