Beautiful antique Royal Vistas Ware decorative plate by Ridgeways England, featuring the artwork “Marooned” from the “Paintings by Famous Artists” series. Rich golden-brown tones with a gold-trimmed rim and a detailed transfer image of a lone figure in a boat beneath a dramatic sunset. Produced between the late 1890s and early 1910s by Ridgeways, Staffordshire, England Marking: “Royal Vistas Ware – From Paintings by Famous Artists – Ridgeways England.” Excellent antique condition. Has beautiful fine crackling glaze (crazing) throughout, typical of genuine antique pottery. No visible chips or cracks. Some wear to gold trim.
