Antique School Book, A Treatise on Arithmetic by J. Hamblin Smith, W J Gage 1882

This is an antique math textbook, "A Treatise on Arithmetic" by J. Hamblin Smith, Adapted to Canadian Schools by Kirkland and Scott. It was published by W. J. Gage & Co as Part of their Gage & Co Educational Series in 1882. It is the 12th edition. It is a red cloth bound hardcover book with black lettering and graphics on the cover and spine and gilt lettering on the spine. It is divided into two sections, Pure Arithmetic and Commercial Arithmetic, for a total of 347 pages plus ads . This book is in quite good condition. The cover and spine have some smudges, wear, loss and bumped corners. The pages have some foxing, creases, notes, and the odd smudge. One page is missing a bottom corner though no text, there is a name on the inside front cover in pen and notes in pencil on the back end pages. The binding is very solid. Please see the photos.
