This is a vintage school textbook based on classic literature, "Everyday Classics Fifth Reader" by Franklin Baker and Ashley Thorndike. It was published by The Macmillan Company in 1928. It contains excerpts from the literary classics by Dickens, Hawthorne, Scott, Defoe, Wyss, Longfellow, Eliot, Browning, London, Tennyson, etc. This book is in very good condition. It is a green cloth bound hardcover book with dark green lettering and green and orange graphics on the cover. The cover and spine have wear and smudges with bumped corners. Most of the pages are very clean. One page has a name in ink in the corner. The binding is intact but needs a little help. Please see the photos.
