Antique Silver-Plated Domed Butter Dish The dome top has a finely etched design which is repeated four times around the outside with a cherub and a pretty flower finial knob handle. The base handles, knife holder and footed base all have beautiful cut out work. The glass plate rests in the base of the butter dish, and the butter knife which sits in the two "U" shaped pieces attached to the base. It is stamped on the bottom EPBM, WMR, Canada. There is a small hole in the base which could be quite easily repaired by soldering, or simply line the interior with a piece of foil if desired... Included is a glass insert and Rogers knife which are not original with the dish. It has been lightly polished.
