A small silver plated antique teapot, most likely Moroccan, made in an Arabic style. After hours of digging I found the same pot listed as being from the early 20th century. The maker's mark is of 2 lions holding up a crown with "PH" beneath it so it was most likely exported to the British Empire for use in a coffee or tea house (PH usually stood for "Public House," or Pub for short). It is decorated with flowers and leaves divided by lines and the lid is topped by an eagle with outstretched wings. The lid opens freely and the hinge is still solid. If it isn't from Morocco then my guess is that it came from the British mandate of Palestine -it would have been easier to export to Britain. The base metal is probably brass or copper as it isn't magnetic. There is still some tarnish.
The pot is 6" tall to the top of the eagle and is 3 1/2" between the handle and spout.
