An antique pair of silver plated serving utensils made by Norblin in the part of Poland that was in the Russian Empire, probably between 1893 and 1905. The pair are a soup ladle and cake server decorated with floral patterns; their base metal is likely brass, as Norblin was known for using brass and the metal is non magnetic. Norblin won several "All Russia" prizes for their quality and design and despite the loss of its customer base after WWI, when Poland gained its independence from the empire, the company prospered until WWII when it seems to have disappeared.
The ladle is about 13 1/4" long with a 3 3/8" mouth; there is a spot of plate missing in the bowl.
The cake server is just over 12" long.
