Antique Sterling Heraldic Enamel Cufflinks

These antique cufflinks are made of sterling silver and have fixed backs. Each of the cufflinks features a shield/coat of arms full of colourful British references. The pieces are stamped Sterling on the backs and have a pretty deep tarnish throughout. Despite the wear, the cufflinks are in good wearable condition. There are no bits of enamel that are missing or ruined. I saw a brooch with the same enamel shield that said it was a gift typically given to a newlywed couple, so I wonder if this set was given to a fresh groom, off on his way to his honeymoon?
