Antique Swedish wooden Dala rooster figure Hand crafted Folk Art

This is a beautiful piece of Swedish folk art from the early 1900’s. It is a Dala rooster, hand carved and painted with colourful details made in the province of Dalarna, a cousin to the celebrated Dala horse. It has a lovely patina, with some wearing and tiny chips to the paint and lacquer which I think makes it more charming and a larger chip at the base, but mostly just general wear due to age and use. 7” tall 6” long 2” deep
