Antique Velvet Sewing Bag – Garnet Red

This antique sewing bag is a treasure. Made of a luxurious garnet red velvet, it has wooden handles that have been worn smooth over time. It has a wide opening, and it’s lined on the inside. This gorgeous piece can be used as a sewing bag, as was intended when it was handcrafted all those years ago, or it can be used as a handbag, for a modern day boho-chic vibe. Note the there is some discolouration to the lining (refer to photo #3). Otherwise, it’s in good condition for its age.
