Antique Victorian Signet Pin Brooch

Antique Victorian hand engraved 14K yellow gold shell over brass signet brooch pin with etched shield and leaves garland on a thick lay of gold and zig-zag cut edges - the brooch is also gold plated on the back side. The brooch has a personalized engraving featuring the word "Success" in French, a name Roy, and a date 23/6/1926 in the reverse. The brooch is not marked but the coating was tested as 14 carat gold. Good antique condition with some scratches on the back side and soldering repair on the c-clasp ; the gold coating is in very good condition on the main side and it is only on the edges where the coating has erosion signs - it is also there where you can see the thickness of the gold lay on the back.
