Antique Victorian Sterling Slide Chain Fob Necklace 1901

From my personal collection! This is an exciting piece if you love antique jewelry pieces that you can wear today without fear of breaking, or sometimes they just aren’t long enough! This piece came to me without a dog clip end: I replaced with one hallmarked with Birmingham date of 1904 The clip works well, but doesn’t line up perfectly when it snaps back in place. This has never interfered with use for me. This fantastic piece is shown with an example fob charm….that is NOT part of this piece nor for sale. 😉 Easy to wear with a watch, a fob, coin, locket, or any bauble you love that fits! The slide portion can smoothly move along the curb chains. The original end ring is hallmarked with Birmingham date of 1901 as shown (small b) Dimensions: 18 &3/4” wearable clasped length when slide at the bottom Slide, end and hanging clip are 2 &3/4” full length Main slide is 7/8” at the widest Curb link chain is 6mm wide Weighs: 56.5 grams solid sterling silver It is in excellent antique condition! Possible light patina….I only ever hand polish it.
