Antique Vintage Door Knocker It is cast metal ( iron?) and has been painted quite thickly with an ivory / off white paint. The back is marked: No. 38 Under to the right it looks like 70. This is a heavy, beautiful piece! Good used vintage condition with wear from use and age. It is intact and feels sturdy although it seems loose and can move side to side.
