For your consideration is a vintage mercury glass Christmas ornament of a basket. The silvered glass is very thin and fine, typical of this early era of German glass ornament making. It is decorated on both sides. The pike does have a little damage but this is only noticeable upon close inspection and most of it is covered by the original metal cap. The rest of the ornament is in good condition with no chips, no cracks and no repairs. It measures 2.25 inches tall to the top of the cap. A beautiful addition to your Christmas tree.
