Antique Wedgwood Jasperware Dutch jug 6”, 1906 dark cobalt blue pitcher

A large Wedgwood Jasperware Dutch Sacrifice Jug in a darker cobalt blue. The simple swags on the top rim creating a frieze for two distinct tableau based on figures from larger classical groupings. The marks underneath give an indication to the production date – the letter looks like an 'I' which would be 1906. Standing 6” tall on the rim, this jug is overall in great shape without breaks or chips and only a tiny piece lost on the top band (see last image). There is some crackling to the cream top layer of Grecian mythological decorations (see images). A beautiful piece of décor and overall a usable antique! New to Poshmark?
