Antique c1835 IRONSTONE handled tray

MAKER: Ridgway Morley Wear & Co circa 1835-1842, Broad Street Works, Hanley.  Broad Street Works would later be occupied by Ashworth to whom this pattern is sometimes attributed.  PATTERN: Pattern 143 - Text from the Ridgway Pattern Book website which quotes the actual factory pattern book: "The print is described as 'India' or 'Old India' in the factory pattern description books. The full entry for Pattern 143. Beautiful 10 1/2" x 10" x roughly 1 1/2" deep. There is some staining on this 175 year old piece of Ironstone which is in keeping with age.
