Antique gold filled locket with chain, signed Wightman & Hough

My research tells me that Wightman & Hough Company of Providence, Rhode Island, made sweetheart necklaces from 1856 until 1922. They were primarily renowned for their lockets. Their slogan, was “There’s a heart in every locket!” I've attached some pictures of the company's locket ads, which I really love! This round locket, an inch in diameter, has an ornate monogram on one photo (I think it is GMR) and the photo of a young child in one of the two places for photos. The Wightman & Hough mark - W&H Co. in a heart - is etched on the other inside face. The locket comes with an 18-inch chain with no markings. Though the piece is at least 100 years old, it is in great condition. The monogram is still sharp, the locket opens and closes easily and securely, and there is no tarnish on the outside (and very lttle on the inside). There are very light surface scratches, as to be expected with an antique item that was actually worn.
