Antique handcrafted brass Middle Eastern kohl pot

Antique Middle Eastern handmade solid brass kohl, eyeliner, mascara pot or flask, also called a Surmadani. Surma, or kajal in India, is made by grinding the stone galena, used as makeup and to protect against the sun. Has original patina, not cleaned at all. Stands 3 3/4” tall and 3 1/2” wide. 2 bells still in place. Everted fluted rim with what looks like remains of kohl. Weighs just over half a pound. A unique old collectable.
