Antique metal mesh hand bag

Interesting heavy chain mail, non magnetic, Gothic style hand bag, unmarked except for a letter B on frame. Slight damage to fringe as shown in photograph. Metal looks to be gilt over ? on this 13" purse ( top of chain handle to bottom of fringe )
