Antique miniature watercolour portrait brooch in 800 silver frame

An antique silver filigree brooch, inset with a miniature watercolour portrait of a pretty girl. It has soft blue turquoise stones set in the surrounding frame. It is marked for 800 silver on the back (not sterling, but old European silver) and can be worn as both a brooch or a pendant. Most likely continental (French, Austrian), dating ca early 1900s (judging from the pin and closure) even though the overall style of this piece is much older. Condition: In great condition with a touch of nibbling to the edges of the glass that protects the portrait. Size: Frame: 2 x 1-5/8 inches Portrait: 1-1/4 x 1 inch.
