...wash Victorian costume jewelry A pretty star brooch in a gilt or gold washed metal. The centrally placed stone shimmers brightly and has been shaped like a round single cut diamond would have. It may be paste, as I can see a small black dot on the centre underside of the stone. The back closes with a simple C clasp with a longer pin. Overall in good condition with plenty of visible wear to the gilding (see images) Size: 2.4 cm diameter.
