...classic windup metronome An antique wooden metronome marked "Métronome Maëlzel, France, Amerique, Belgique, Paris, Hollande, Angleterre". The shape in a classic wooden obelisk, with the front removable by a hook at the top. It seems to be in good working order. The wind up mechanism is not overwound and works well. The label on the inside of the front piece mentions a timer bell, but I believe this metronome does not have a gong mechanism built-in. Condition: It looks complete with front and bottom covers included. With marks of age and wear on the outside, scuffing to the front and it looks to have a few repairs made to it. The top with some glue, as well as the bottom corner on the left hand front. (see images) Size: ca 9 inches high (23 cm)
