...vintage beehive spool, 17th C antique style home decor An old yarn bobbin or spool for holding thread in a wool mill. In a perfect rustic look with plenty of signs of age and perfect as a minimalist decorative element in your home, or to use as a candlestick holder. Added are two tapered candlesticks by Royal Delft, the iconic makers of hand painted blue on white ceramic wares for "Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles" Condition: The spool with marks of age and use including scratches, discoloration and denting around the (pewter?) top rim. Both candles with indentations from being tied with a rubber band and some fingerprints in the wax (my bad!). Both candles have never been lit. Size: Spool: 12-3/8 inches (31.3 cm) Candles: 9-3/4 inches (24.5 cm) Please note: the spool fits regular sized candles quite well, but I personally feel this can make the item top heavy and more prone to fall over. Please consider securing it to a surface before adding a (full sized) tapered candle.
