On the AirPods Max themselves:
Locate the left ear cup.
Detach the magnetic ear cushion.
The serial number will be printed in small lettering behind the cushion.
On your paired Apple device:
Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
Select your AirPods Max from the list.
Tap on "More Info".
Scroll down to the "About" section to find the serial number.
