Apple Shaped Trinket Box Vintage Lacquered Wood Floral Design Folk Art

Vintage wooden apple shaped box with beautiful handpainted gold floral design on shiny black lacquer. Likely made in India, the design is reminiscent of Indian henna designs and folk art. Very nice apple fruit shape, would make a cute gift for a teacher! The box is in good vintage condition. The apple stem on the lid is damaged, see photos. There are some chips in the lacquer on the inside rim. Some scuffs and light wear on the outside Total height including lid is app 6", diameter is 4 3/4" The inside depth is app 3", inside diameter is 4"
