April Cornell cardigan size S

Purple open front cardigan. 3/4 length sleeves. Size S. When laying flat pit to pit is 21”, length is 21”. It’s not entirely clear to me if the single button is cosmetic or if there was a matching one and/or a button string that is now missing. All that said it doesn’t impact wearability.
