Aran Irish Sweater Hand Knit cable and bar Unknown Fibre Wool Blend Hand Knit

This is a hand made Aran Style Irish Sweater, in a soft cream colour There are no tags, so the fibre content is unknown I washed it as though it were wool, hand wash in cold water with sweater soap. It does have a “wet wool” smell when wet. It also became very heavy and held water, like wool. I doubt it’s 100% wool. Crew neck Raglan sleeves 3 different cables on the front 2 different cables down the sleeves Double ribbed neck, cuffs and waistband Plain knit back Some pilling, easily removed. No marks or damage No size tag, I’m ball parking it a women’s large. Please go by the measurements.
